This adorable cutie is Jazzie! It's hard to pinpoint her breed mix, but from most angles, she looks a lot like a Boston Terrier, though what she is mixed with to get that extra height and weight is anyone's guess.
Left behind with her sister when her family moved and decided they could not come with them, Jazzie found herself in a scary rural shelter. But she didn't let that get her down and she continues to see the good in people and dreams of a real forever home.
She is described as a “good girl” by shelter staff and walks well on leash. She’s great with other dogs, but has yet to be tested with cats (we can do that, though!).
The adoption fee for this dog is $350. Our shelter partners provide a basic vet screening for each animal we rescue, which includes necessary vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, and spay/neuter (unless the animal is too young or otherwise deemed by the vet to not be a good candidate for surgery). Please note that this is not a comprehensive medical exam and as such, may not identify any and all medical issues, though our goal is to flag any obvious health issues through the basic vet screening. We share all medical records with adopters and flag any known issues prior to adoption finalization.
